A new restaurant called Koi has opened in Ft lauderdale. It is located off of 17th Street in the LA Fitness shopping Center. Next to Gilberts Hamburgers. It is the third restaurant from the owners of Saiko-i Sushi Lounge Hibachi and Yakitori Sake House in Boca Raton. We love both of those restaurants and their newest addition Koi is another winner. A large well decorated interior with a full service bar and ample outdoor seating area. The staff is attentive and willing to guide you through the vast menu choices. We ate the following:
Roasted Duck Wrap $14, Singapore Flatbread, spring mix, avocado & balsamic drizzle. Absoulutly delicious!

Peking Duck Dumplings $11, steamed or pan fried.

Kani or Crab Cucumber Roll $8. A great choice for you no rice or carb eaters! Other cucumber roll selections available.

Koi Spring Roll $11, Rice wrapped filled with ground chicken, shiitake mushrooms, carrot & bean thread noodle fried & served with sweet chili sauce. Crisp, crunchy and filled with ground chicken.

Lobster Pineapple Fried Rice $30, Lobster tail, egg, jasmine rice, tomato, garlic, cashew nut, onion, carrot, pineapple raisin. WOW! Enough to share for 2 people at this price! Love it!

Lobster Pad Thai $30, Lobster tail, egg, rice noodle, garlic, bean sprout, ground roasted peanuts, scallions wrapped in egg net. Art on a plate. It looks so good you will want to take a picture! Can be shared by two people.

A nice selection coldd cold sake is available as well as wine, beer and cocktails

A great happy hour, lunch and dinner can be had at Koi. Stop by and try it!
